KDF IN JAMAICA - SUMMER 2024
July 2024 - During a visit to Jamaica this summer, our Founder and President had the opportunity to connect with all of our Caribbean High School Scholars and their parent/guardian. We hosted our 1st Caribbean Scholars Luncheon where we celebrated the students, recognized their accomplishments, welcomed the Class of 2024, and facilitated a panel discussion where the students discussed their experiences in High School and provided words of wisdom to the new Scholars. We also handed out school supplies. Upon her return, Allison said "It was a very heartwarming experience, and I am very proud of what we have built and look forward to the continued growth of our program."

We currently have 19 students in the program - 6 from the Class of 2022, 6 from the Class of 2023, and this year we added 7 students from the Class of 2024.

The KDF Caribbean High School Scholarship Program was launched in 2022 and provides support through academic scholarships and mentorship, for high performing Primary School students who need assistance to get to and complete High School.

The program is currently open to graduating St. Ann's Bay Primary School (located in St. Ann, Jamaica) students who are planning to attend High School in the academic year following their graduation.
